Fellow republicans - summer is here as is an early campaign season. The presidential candidates have been raising money and getting out to meet voters for a few months now, and doing more this summer. Quite a few have been in Chicago and some of you have had a chance to meet them. It promises to be an exciting time for Illinoisans to see them here even though we are in a blue state. Voters here can make a difference so do try to help where you can!
Our primary is now February 5, 2008, which is over a month earlier than usual. This puts Illinois into play in the primary so our votes will make a difference. Petitions should be out sometime in August so the campaigns will be looking for volunteers to help get signatures. We will let you know how you can help!
Our next event is our Putt Putt at the Green at Grant Park on July 25 after work. It was a great time last year and we expect a good crowd again. Information in our this site so please check it out and send in your check! It will be a good chance to stay in touch. We look forward to seeing you soon!
