Please bring a new or used children’s book for CRWN’s book drive to help needy children learn to read.
Transportation/Parking
Driving directions from Lake Michigan, heading westward:Armitage Ave. (2000 N.) west
Hamlin Ave. (3800 W.) south; Hamlin is about 4 miles west of Halsted.
Last house on left/east side of the street; beige Victorian; American flag; pretty gardens.
Park anywhere on the street, no permit is needed.
CTA directions via bus:
Board the #73 Armitage bus at Armitage and Clark (bus departs every ten minutes).
Travel west approximately 34 minutes to Hamlin and Armitage.
Deboard and walk one block south on Hamlin Ave. to our home.
CTA directions via the “EL” and a taxi:
Take the Blue Line to either the “Logan” stop or the “Western” stop (trains run every ten minutes or less).
Take a taxi to our home near Armitage and Hamlin (5 minutes from either EL stop).
