Transportation/Parking
The red line Clark & Division El stop is 100 paces from Linda’s door. Walk north to 1255 N. Clark street (Eliot House) in Sandburg Terrace. Sign in with the doorman. The 22 and 36 bus lines on Clark street and the LaSalle Street buses stop at Division or Goethe. It's easy to get a taxi to and from Linda’s place. Ask the doorman to turn on the taxi cab light.
Street parking opens up on the East side of Clark street at 6:30 pm, with no need to feed the meters. To get one of these free, convenient spots, it's best to be there at 6:30 pm. Otherwise, there is free parking on LaSalle street. No one should park on Goethe, which is permit parking only.
There is also valet parking underneath Linda’s building, costing about $8.
